Refund Policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026

We want billing to be as honest as our analytics. This policy explains exactly when refunds are and are not available. All payments are processed by Stripe.

1. Monthly subscriptions (Pro, Elite, Research Desk)

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us; cancellation stops future charges and your plan features remain active until the end of the current billing period.

If you were charged and believe it was in error — for example a renewal after you cancelled, or a duplicate charge — contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full.

First-time subscribers to any plan may request a full refund within 7 days of their first charge, no questions asked, provided fewer than 25 backtests have been run in that period. This gives you a real chance to evaluate the platform without gaming the quota system.

2. One-time purchases

One-time purchases behave differently because they deliver immediately:

  • Template Pack ($19): refundable within 7 days if no premium template has been cloned into your account.
  • AI Strategy Report ($29): refundable until the report credit is redeemed. Once a report has been generated, the purchase is non-refundable.
  • Backtest Credit Pack ($49): refundable within 7 days on a pro-rata basis for unused credits (e.g. 40 of 50 credits unused → 80% refund).

3. How to request a refund

Submit a request through the contact form on the Research Desk page from the email address on your account, including the approximate charge date. We respond within 3 business days, and approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Stripe typically settles refunds within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

4. What refunds do not cover

Refunds are not available for dissatisfaction with simulated strategy performance (losing backtests are information, not defects), for months where the subscription was substantially used, or for chargebacks initiated without first contacting us. Accounts abusing the refund process (e.g. repeat subscribe-refund cycles) may be refused future refunds and/or service.

5. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory refund or cancellation rights you hold in your jurisdiction (including EU/UK consumer withdrawal rights where applicable).
